Extension of production building Multivac Bulgaria – new production building with administrative part

Technical indicators: 

• Plot area: 20 039 sq.m.

• Landscaping: 2500 sq.m.

The project is an extension to an existing manufacturing building and adjacent land, infrastructure and facilities on the same property.
The new part of the building is adjacent to the old building and is located on the western side of the property. The building includes:
- A production area for machine equipment and manual assembly of finished products
- Changing rooms with sanitary facilities on the first level with direct connection to the production area
- Offices, technical and sanitary facilities on the second level
- Offices to be built on the second level
The site is divided into two stages of construction:
Stage 1 - complete the entire production area and the area with changing rooms and offices above, including all installations, boundary and front walls and roof; complete site, including roads, installation routes and landscaping. 
Phase 2 - partition walls, windows, suspended ceilings, finishes and all installations for second level offices.
In Stage 1, the architectural and façade framing, vertical layout and landscaping was fully completed.
A passageway was built to connect the second level offices from the new part to the office part in the existing office building.
Vertical communication for the new part is via a central staircase for the offices on the two-storey part and additional escape staircases for the offices on the second level. Landscaped areas and internal property roads are formed in the vacant yard area for vehicle and fire department maneuvering.
The structure of the building is precast reinforced concrete with steel reinforcing elements. The roof is gable with main slopes of 2%, the drainage is carried out with a vacuum pipe system and funnels with electric heating. The roof has a layered installation of roofing sheet, thermal insulation of hard stone wool 20cm, waterproofing PVC membrane with a thickness of 1.8 mm. Horizontal thermopanels with concealed installation are installed on the façade, with certification for EI30 and EI120 respectively. The façade windows are RAL 7016 aluminium windows with double glazing and interrupted thermal bridge. The interior walls are plasterboard, damp-proof and fire-proof with thickness according to drawings and 2xGKB, 2xGKBI, 2xGKF, 2xGKFI cladding. All the supply and installation works of electrical, fire alarm, plumbing, building automation system, HVAC, gas supply, technology, surveying, parking and landscaping, fire safety have been completed. 
The site was successfully commissioned in February 2023.
