The facility is an automated pallet warehouse with adjacent service facilities for loading and unloading and dispatching activities. The project treats three relatively separate but functionally connected /jointed/ buildings - an automated high bay warehouse, an ancillary building with dispatch and service areas and a buffer entrance area.
The implementation of the project covered the following summarised activities by parts:
Architecture: The facade and the roof of the high-rise warehouse is made of air-tight three-layer BRUCHA mineral door panels with a thickness of 15 cm. Three airtight doors are installed. The facades of the auxiliary buildings are made with three-layer thermal panels. Smoke extraction is provided by roof light-permeable domes. Waterproofing is solved with SIKA Sarnafil and Sikaplan materials.
The internal finishing works, including the execution of plasterboard walls, masonry walls, KNAUF suspended ceilings, tiling tiles, staircase railings, fire-resistant doors, give the site a commercial appearance and create a pleasant working atmosphere.
Structure: Construction of the supporting foundation slab of the automated warehouse, serving as the base of the racking structure. The load-bearing structure of the Expedition area is made of prefabricated reinforced concrete elements, while the buffer zone is entirely monolithic.
The auxiliary buildings have a ground reinforced concrete floor, reinforced with steel and polypropylene fibres and treated with KLB-SYSTEM EPOXID EP 722 E, a wear-resistant epoxy finish coating with a total area of 1200 sq.m.
Electrical installations and equipment, including electrical panels and power lines, power and lighting installations, lightning protection and earthing installations, site electrical installations. Building and site plumbing networks. GEBERIT PLUVIA vacuum roof drainage system is installed.
Sprinkler installation for fire extinguishing.
Vertical planning and roads - asphalt concrete and pavements.
The site was commissioned in 2016 and has been operational to date, showing no defects.
